The Perfect Gift Shop

A non-profit program in Floyd County, VA for children ages 5-15. Children shop with our gift certificates to "buy" holiday gifts for those they love in our yearly “pop-up” shop. The shop teaches that the “perfect gift” is giving to others.
Sue Richards and I just finished furnishing the camper going to NC. We tried to think of everything a person would need to be comfortable. ![]()

We provided Sheets, towels, electric kettle, crockpot, coffee, soup, soaps, cleaners, broom, mop, toilet bowl cleaner, over the door towel rack, silverware, utensils , potholders, bandages, advil, rolaids, paper plates and cups, trash cans and bags, and miscellaneous things someone might need. ![]()

The trailer could use 2 to 3 warm blankets or comforters. We could not find reasonably priced ones and Angels is closed.
Tomorrow at 10, we will be furnishing a camper to go to NC before the cold weather hits Friday. We will be in the rear lot at Floyd Xpress Mart with items we have sourced and collected. ![]()

We would like to provide a crock pot and mattress pads. If you have either to donate or an idea where we could get these items at a reasonable price, message us. ![]()

We are moved out except for the return of the chairs to Hotel Floyd. We will do that tomorrow afternoon and do a final sweeping. ![]()

Great progress has been made moving shelves and merchandise back to storage. We will work again Tuesday afternoon at 1pm to finish getting everything out of the Shop. ![]()
